Absence-type epileptic seizures

Absence fainting is a brief, sudden loss of consciousness It occurs more often in children than in adults When a person has absinthe, you may think that they are mindlessly staring at some space for a few seconds. These types of blows generally do not cause physical damage

Absence seizures are well controlled with antiepileptic drugs Some children who have absinthe heartburn also have other types of heartburn Some even completely recover from heartburn during adolescence

Often, absent heartburn has no underlying cause The patient may have this disease due to genetic predisposition Rapid breathing (hyperventilation) may cause absent heartbeats in such children

Generally, heartburn is caused by the transmission of wrong impulses in the brain cells Neurons in the brain send electrical and chemical impulses through synapses

When a person has a heart attack, the normal electrical activity of the brain is altered During an absent heartbeat, these electrical signals are transmitted repeatedly at three-second intervals

Patients with heart disease may also have altered concentrations of informational molecules (neurotransmitters) in the brain.

Absence heartburn is more common in children Some children will heal on their own after some time (months or years). Some may also suffer from other types of heart palpitations, such as complete heart palpitations (tonic-clonic).

The main symptom of absent-mindedness is fixation of the gaze in one space, as in the usual "blinking" for about 10-15 seconds, without confusion, headache or dizziness. Other signs and symptoms include:
  • Sudden cessation of movement without falling
  • Lip biting
  • Eyelid play (frequent blinking)
  • Chewing movements
  • Finger movements
  • Slow movement of both hands
Absent palpitations The patient does not remember and cannot understand that he had such an attack Some people have even a dozen episodes a day, which interfere with their daily life

A child may have absinthe heartburn, but the parent may not notice it because it is short-lived. A child's learning disability may be the first sign of this disease The teacher may notice that the child has difficulty concentrating in class

When to see a doctor
See a doctor when:
  • You first notice palpitations
  • If you have not had this type of palpitations before
  • If you still have palpitations Anti-epileptic drugs : eating, moving You are confused, you cannot understand your behavior These symptoms may indicate absence status epilepticus syndrome
  • You have heart palpitations that last more than five minutes
